Hey Guys
I know i dont usually review stores but this place is worth a mention. They have shops in VT and MASS and specialize in kayaking. THE STAFF IS AWESOME. John at the VT store talked with me for 45 min explaining the differant kinds of kayaks.
KUDOS to the owner Great shop.

ATTN: ALL CLIF SHOT, MOTOR TABS, AND HEED USERS
Throw it all out and get zym. I am a zym convert. I used to swear by motor tabs then i discovered zym. Unlike motor tabs these come in 2 formulas Endurance and Catapult. Catapult gives you a nice burst of energy while endurance keeps you going. the only thing is i wish there was more of a flavor variety. They come in a singles pack of 20 or a tube of 10
Price- Varies check website http://gozym.com/shop/store.html
Rating 8/10

After about 100 miles of use
The small H20 lettering peeled away
the connector that attaches the tube to the bladder jammed.
Revised grade 7.5/10

Note- This Review is only after 11 miles of riding. I will post an update after i go to camp.
Hydrapak Big Sur is a small mountain biking oriented hydration pack. Just by holding this and looking at its construction it feels much more durable than its larger competitor (cough camelbak). The pack sits really well on your back but i wish the shoulder straps had a tad more padding. It has a 100 oz reservoir and a really long tube so you can drink all day and still have some left over. The wastebelt is stowable if you get annoyed by having one, and for those of you who want to crank up the tunes there is a “hydratunes’” head phone port.
The pack had a huge front pocket where you can keep more than anything you need.

Arm warmers, jersey, shorts, sunglass case, 2 tubes, tire levers, gloves, clifbar, 2 clif shot bloks, water bottle, and my camera
All of that fit in my pack. i couldn’t believe it.
Another huge plus is the hydration reservoir. It even has a slidey top that doesn’t get stuck or open when you don’t want it to.
I recommend washing it out before you put water in so it won’t taste funny. The resovoir is BPA free so we won’t get cancer or nasty birth defects.
There is also a bottom pocket with little elastic loops in it. Im not sure what they are really there for but i stuck my tire levers down there.
Also there is a nifty little device called the quantum clip that has a magnet that keeps your water tube where you want.
Despite the lack of padding on the straps the back is chock full of it. It cools your back and keeps it comfortable. What could be sweeter well besides sugar.
Price- $79.99
Final verdict- 9.5/10 A little more padding on the straps would be nice.

So I was riding my bike today in some local woods and all i see are broken beer bottles. Do people really have to booze up on the trails? I’m sure its just ignorant non-mtb’ers who could care less how many tubes we pop riding through this. But the point of this post is really just to make sure people are aware of this and clean it up. I know i have spent a alot of time cleaning local trails of broken glass etc.
